Nestled on the pristine shore of Lake Nicaragua, Hotel San Juan Ometepe offers a true rural escape within the lush Finca San Juan. The authentic charm of this eco-friendly lodge, surrounded by tropical fruit trees and rare wildlife, exudes peace and tranquility.Our room, with a vaulted ceiling and hot water shower, provided a comfortable retreat after days filled with outdoor adventures. From swimming in the warm waters of the lake to volcano climbing and mountain biking, the location offers a plethora of activities for nature lovers.The laid-back atmosphere, complete with hammocks and rocking chairs scattered around the property, invited us to unwind and soak in the stunning views of Volcán Concepción and the cloud forest-wrapped Maderas.The staff's warm hospitality and helpful suggestions made us feel truly welcome. From organizing tours to offering delicious meals at the onsite restaurant, every detail was taken care of with care and attention. The free cooked-to-order breakfast was a delightful touch, setting us up for a day of exploration. From the beautiful surroundings to the comfortable accommodations and attentive service, this eco-friendly lodge provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable escape in the heart of Nicaragua.
